OK I am not in Syracuse AT ALL, I am back in the Cizzle Bizzle. I am seriously coasting for the remainder of summer. This afternoon's goal is to organize the room (how can this have been my goal ALL SUMMER) and then to eat good food tonight.

Empty nest syndrome is hitting hard in this house. Big Sis moved to Idaho(HO) just right now, and pip is still out there w/her & nl. That is very far away, a two day drive at least to see my sister that I am used to seeing way more often. Also, I am a heel for not visiting her in Des Moines before they left. In addition to moomer moving out there, li'l sis is currently tripping (in more than one way...) across Europe. When she returns, it is basically for a week or two and then she is off to South Dakota. M is basically flipping because she is used to having someone to a) worry about b) ask to help around the house. Because pip doesn't understand that M just can't do certain things any more.

Yesterday, M was putzing in the kitchen, and I was lazing in the great room, and all of a sudden there was a giant crash. She had fallen off her chair. That is the sort of not-good-ness that really is unnecessary (the chair, the over extension, the falling, all of it).

Pip is probably not doing awesome about it either, he has been falling asleep at the computer a lot lately. It is a good thing that he is going in to partial retirement after New Year's, I think he is looking forward to that.

School starts in like 23 days and that is not long enough. I want to be out of the house for sure, but I would like an endless summer. I didn't get to do nearly enough. Weekends were basically recuperation, this one especially was just lazy because the past week was insane, and I am not really sure I am good at what I'm doing.

I think I am going to go watch movies... err... clean my room.
