Look both ways before you cross your heart and hope to die for your sins
04.30.05 - 12:03 a.m.
We are now post-Zoo overnight, which means the last event of the SSFG for which I'm pres. That is like amazing. Zoo went well- I think we had 26 people total. I thought it was a pretty solid mix of people, and I think everyone ended up having a decent time. I was up until a little after 3, at which point I went and moved li'l sis off the sleeping bag and fell asleep. Awakened at 6:30 meant slightly grumpy, and no one wanted to stay for the morning hike... so we didn't.
Returned to the d-o-r-m for shower nap before stp stuff, then did a hardware sandbox with triple-hyper 4th graders (who think that if the computer's case can rest on top of the machine, that counts as reassembling the machine) then some time around 5:30 I fell asleep until 9ish. It's an odd feeling to wake up at 9pm from a nap... mostly disconcerting, since it means I had to go buy dinner.
Finals are approaching, and I'm honing my procrastination skills as usual. I've got history to read tonight, and then I think I'll be good for a little while...
Tomorrow includes a hardware sandbox and also going nuts writing a paper from 1 until it's done with a group.
I think the most important thing to do if you're going to be hanging out with people is brushing your teeth. I have been giving this a lot of thought lately, and have decided that if I ran into someone who smelled like pee, it would be a lot better if their breath were minty fresh. Minty freshness lets me forgive a lot in a person.
